3rd Annual MW Holiday Party Recap
A great time was had by all at the 3rd Annual Model’s Workshop Holiday Party on December 11, 2016 held at the gorgeous Swan Garden, Angel Manor Estate. Many MW Group members, supporters, friends and family came out to celebrate the holidays with us. Garden Party Chic Styling Challenge Highlights
What a fabulous time we had on Wednesday, May 14th, as Model’s Workshop celebrated spring with a Garden Party Chic Styling Challenge. The models looked AMAZING! The garden decor was truly spectacular, and it was a packed room with guests and supporters who also dressed in the Garden Party theme. Two main criteria for this theme was to wear a hat and flowers must be part of the outfit or the accessories.
Our WINNER was Lady Kitten Katze-Elmer (falinakatze), who captivated the audience and the judges in a super chic spring pantsuit in hues of peach, green and yellow by SLC. Perfect for an afternoon Garden Party, the suit was set off with a green and yellow stylish hat with feather and flowers by Boudoir, sexy heart-shaped gold, green and diamond jewelry by Chop Zuey, and simple daytime makeup that included rosy cheeks and lips…READ MORE
Blogging for Models presented by Beatrice Serendipity
Blogging has become one of the fastest growing communication tools for fashion models in SL. If you are good at photography and love fashion and styling your avatar, having a blog to showcase these skills can be very rewarding and sometimes addicting. It can also be extremely inspiring to those who follow you. Designers may start to take notice and send blogger requests, and agency owners may start to follow your blog, which could open future modelling opportunities for you.

A Fantasy World at Model’s Workshop
Congratulations to Eleseren Brianna whose glowing and regal Sun goddess outfit won the Summer Fantasy Styling Challenge on July 17th. Eles’ interpretation of Summer Fantasy was flawless, mixing elements from different designers, and delighting us with her perfect poses and majestic display of elegance. Not Just Another Pretty Face
This week, Thursday March 28 at 5:30 p.m. SLT, Caryn Ashdene (that’s me writing ^^) hosts a workshop about store models and how their work differs from the role models in other settings have. Information on the interview, presenting your portfolio, making sure you sell the item(s) you represent by choosing your styling carefully and other details will be shared.
