About Styling Challenges | How To Enter | Preparing Your Style Card
Welcome and thank you for participating in the Models Workshop Styling Challenge.
We encourage all participants to be creative with your styling—mix and match elements from different designers (if possible), experiment with object placement and color combinations, and choose interesting poses to showcase your fabulous look…keeping in mind the basic modeling and styling rules.
Presenting Your Outfit
- Walk onto the stage and strike a few poses while telling the audience about your outfit.
- Have your STYLE CARD ready. When it is your turn to present, you will take the stage to present your look.
- You have up to 10 MINUTES to tell the audience about your look, and for the audience to offer comments.
- When your time is up, the stage director will cue you off stage.
- When everyone has presented, we will ask the participants to come back on stage for a final look at your styling before voting begins.
Preparing Your Style Card
If you plan to enter, you will need to produce a style card and introduction to your look. Click for details on how to prepare your style card.
Voting
- When everyone has presented, the Challenge Judges will deliberate and rate each entry. This process is done electronically using Google Forms.
- Judges ratings are tallied and winners are announced by the host.

Rules of Conduct
- Challenge is open to males and females
- No child avatars
- No sexualized nudity
- No heckling and name calling—keep it friendly
- All malicious activity will be banned and reported
NOTE: We encourage audience members, judges and contestants to offer comments (positive comments and constructive criticism as well as recommendations) on the model’s styling. We ask that the audience be tactful and respectful when making those comments. We will not condone personal attacks on the participants.
Models please do not take any criticism personally. We’re all here to learn and the constructive criticism given is not meant to be a personal attack on you. It is the personal opinion of our guests and professional recommendations of our judges and MW team to help you develop your styling and modelling skills.
REMEMBER! Practice makes perfect. GOOD LUCK!
