Model’s Workshop Fashion-5 presented Solidea Folies Couture on September 4th, and showcased owner and designer Mila Tatham‘s creations throughout the years. The show was produced and directed by yours truly, and featured eight gorgeous models: Amity Sorbet, Bai Nightfire, Paris Evermore (Dollchild), Memole Giha, Misoindite Romano, Payton Heron, Quinty Sirnah and Ruby Ornamental. Our DJ and MC Paradox Messmer and chat host and script writer AbbyJean kept the audience engaged as each model entered the runway in Mila’s stunning works of art.
The show was a display of avant garde, haute couture, formal gowns and artistic expression in fashion through the mind of Mila Tatham. The lineup included her very first SL designs of feathers and flexi prims to her newer body-hugging mesh garments with floral embellishments, beads, ribbons and even more feathers.
Guests were treated to a choreographed posing routine featuring Paris and Ruby wearing Mila’s Amanda gown, and all models did an amazing job showing off Mila’s designs in what was truly a fantastic show—we were all delighted to hear so from Mila herself.

MW Solidea Folies Photo Styling Challenge Results
In addition to celebrating Mila’s many years designing in Second Life, the show celebrated the rebirth of Solidea Folies and Mila’s return to SL after a brief hiatus. Mila has great plans for her brand in the next coming months, including a relaunch of her store and sim, and some new releases. The newly-released PEONIA dress and bodysuit was the subject of our recent Photo Styling Challenge that ran from August 23 – September 23.
WINNER Etoilerose received a L$5,000 Gift Card to Solidea Folies, an invite to Solidea Folies bloggers group and other great prizes. Second place (L$1,000 gift card) went to Shazzy (shazneyvalentine) and third (L$500 gift card) to Purple Leonis (Nel4481). Thank you to all who entered. You all had amazing style.
