MW April 2017 “Singing in the Rain” Styling Challenge Winner!

Congratulations to Rockinman1, Winner of the “Singing in the Rain” Styling Challenge for April 2017.  Rockin impressed the judges with his supreme styling skills by wearing a very dapper three piece suit, eye-catching wingtip shoes, and a jaunty fedora.  The set was done by Suki Rexen and was an amazing display! It looked as though the contestants were walking in the park in the middle of a wonderful April shower.   The challenge took place on April 26th and all the contestants involved did  a fantastic job styling a rain proof look.

MW March 2017 “Red Carpet” Styling Challenge Winner!

Congratulations to RaquelValentina, Winner of the “Red Carpet” Styling Challenge for March 2017.  Raquel wowed the judges with her styling skills by wearing a strapless black gown with white opera gloves. and a lovely pearl necklace.  The set was done by Suki Rexen and as usual it looked amazing!  The challenge took place on Mar 15th and all the contestants involved did  a wonderful job styling a red carpet look.

Model’s Workshop invites you to join in  “Walking the Red Carpet”.  This challenge is open as always to women and men. It’s going to be a fun one as you all don your finest garb and compete to get the most paparazzi!  Prizes include: $1000L , $600L Posesion Gift Card, as well as magazine coverage. (see details below)  Don’t miss it!

These Model’s Workshop challenges offer a unique opportunity to show your styling abilities to a group of your peers and get direct feedback. Remember to use appropriate poses and walks to present and sell your styling but don’t forget the basics! Check prims carefully and try to mix and match when possible.

There will be a panel of judges who will give contest style ranking as well as audience participants with vast modeling experience giving positive critiques. Newer models gain insight into the contest procedure as well as the experience of the judging and critique process. Veteran models get a forum in which to continue to refine their styling skills. The winner will have their photo in ModeLS Magazine and Diversity Magazines. They will also have an interview with photos published in E N V Y Magazine! Their photo will be featured on the Model’s Workshop Blog as well as inworld at the Model’s Workshop HQ.

You need not spend a fortune on this challenge. Use your inventory in unique, outside the box ways.

Who Wore It Best – Seeing Red Styling Challenge Recap

Congratulations to Bai Nightfire, Winner of the “Seeing Red” Who Wore It Best February  2017 Styling Challenge! Bai impressed the judges with her styling skills by layering a flirty little skirt over red chino pants, one of the items available for use in the challenge, and adding some very daring designs on top. She looked astonishingly sexy and ready for her Valentine’s Day date.  Honorable Mentions include Ava Jhamin and Amy Morgan, who did a great job styling.  The set was done by Suki Rexen and as usual she did a fabulous job!   The challenge took place on Feb 15th and all the contestants did an impressive job styling a look with one of the items sent to them.

Model’s Workshop invites you to join in a “Who wore it best challenge” where each person will be given the same red item to build an outfit around. This challenge is open as always to women and men. You will style the item given to represent your idea of that perfect Valentine’s Day date!   So whether that is going out to dinner or engaging in a romantic sunset hike it is your choice, just make sure your outfit represents your dream Valentine’s Day date and be sure the item given to you is used as it was given.  Gain valuable feedback and prizes!  As always the sky is the limit!

MW STYLING CHALLENGE – TIME TRAVELER JAN 2017 WINNER

Congratulations to Saori Kido Rey, Winner of the Time Traveler January 2017 Styling Challenge! Saori floored the judges with her amazing futuristic look of dazzling white!  Honorable Mentions include Rhiannon Colclough dressed as a Brahmin woman in India during the British colonial rule and Elana Ling adorned in masked ball attire on her way back in time from the future to attend a party. The set was glorious with stunning classic car seating, lit up exits for past and future, and so much more! As usual Suki Rexen did a fabulous job!   The challenge took place on Jan 18th and all the contestants did an impressive job styling a look from their favorite period in time.

You are cordially invited to travel through time and bring your favorite period to life at the Model’s Workshop Styling Challenge.

Model’s Workshop wants you to hop into your time machine and create your favorite look based on your favorite time! It can be a look from the past, present or future!  Style your look as your imagination and research for that period dictates. As always the sky is the limit!  We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
